Circa Sports Football Contest FAQs
What is Circa Survivor?
Circa Survivor is a traditional football survivor contest, but with a twist. Instead of looking to go 18-0, entrants to Circa Survivor are looking to go 20-0, as Thanksgiving/Black Friday and Christmas Day each are considered their own separate weeks. Last entrant, or entrants, standing win the entire prize pool!
What is Circa Million?
Circa Million is a contest where an entrant picks five games against the spread every week. Winner for the full-season wins one million dollars! The top 100 places full-season pay out, with quarterly prizes as well. So if a player gets hot for a quarter, they can take home money! 18 weeks of action, 126 ways to win.
When do I need to sign up by?
Registration deadline for Circa Million VII and Circa Survivor is Saturday, September 6 at 2 PM pacific time.
How do I sign up?
To sign up, you must register in person in any of the following Circa Sports locations in Nevada:
- Circa Resort & Casino
- the D Las Vegas
- Tuscany Suites & Casino
- Silverton Casino Lodge
- The Pass at Water Street Casino at Water Street
- Legends Bay Casino in Sparks, NV
Do I need to be in Nevada to sign up?
Yes. While you need to be in Nevada to sign up in-person, you do not need to be in Nevada to make your picks during the season.
What is a proxy service?
A proxy service is a service that you will sign up with in order to make your picks. When signing up in person, they will be part of the sign up process. During the season, you will communicate with the proxy on the picks that you want to make. While you can be anywhere in the world making those picks, they will be entering the picks from Nevada. Numerous proxies are on-site at Circa Resort & Casino during the summer to help you sign up, or you can book a proxy to meet you at one of the other sign-up locations.
Do I need to book a proxy in advance?
While proxies are often in the sportsbook at Circa Resort & Casino, if you want to use a specific proxy it is a good idea to make a reservation with them in advance. Also, if you need a proxy at another sign-up location, a proxy can meet you there if you reach out in advance.
How much can I win?
The guarantee for Circa Survivor this season is $15 million. If the entries exceed $15 million (15,000 entrants), then all money will continue to go into the prize pool. If there are multiple winners, they will split the prize pool evenly.
The guarantee for Circa Million VII is $6 million. The first place prize is $1 million.
Does Circa Sports take any money from the contest?
No. All Circa Sports contests have no rake! If entries for Circa Survivor or Circa Million VII exceed the guarantees, all money will continue to go back into the prize pool.
What is an overlay?
An overlay reflects how much money needs to go into the pool to reach the guarantee. If a contest does not reach the guarantee, Circa Sports will add money to the prize pool themselves to reach that guarantee.
